Has anyone ever used a .40 caliber Hi-Power mag in a 9mm Hi-Power (using 9mm ammo, obviously)? Does it work? Any feed problems with it?

The question popped into my head this morning since I recently asked the same thing regarding Kahr mags, and in that case apparently it works fine.

I used to have a .40 HP, but sold it, and never really compared the .40 mags to the 9's. I've currently got plenty of 9mm mags, but sometimes come across some rather good prices on .40 mags, so figured it was a reasonable question... especially in a SHTF situation.

I have, the feed lips of the mag had to be adjusted, to make it work. It has been a while but I don't remember having any feed problems with it.

Not in a HP, but, have used a Ruger 40 mag shooting 9MM before, and it ran perfectly!

I assume you adjusted them in a 'hair'?
