Yep I put this thing in layaway a few weeks ago....they sold like hotcakes.....
I've been wanting a pocket 40 S&W revolver for a while and this is built on a "D" frame
Taurus came out with a Model 405 in 40 S&W ...but it is a built on a K frame ..and has a 2in barrel ..this is a D frame with a 2.3in barrel....and weighs in at 21 oz....
I now have 4 charter arms revolvers....They seem to be well made, not a Ruger (what is) but they have GREAT customer service....

the .40cal bulldog is out and is in the lastest combat handguns...........
would be neat if they made it in .45acp too.
id like for them to sturdy up the bulldog design just a little more before id try another in .44spl.
i see they dropped their patriot .327 magnum from the line.......

Very nice. I would love to see some pics of your Charter Arms .40S&W.

I think I'll wait for the .45 ACP.

Buckeye 63 how did the CA Bulldog shoot? Any issues or thoughts?
Anyone else have experience with the 40 s&w revolver or the newer Charter Arms??
I have thought about making this my first wheel gun.

The gun was tight ,and had a great overall fit and finish...I really liked the size of the revolver ...one thing I didn't like was the built in clips ..the ammo actually snapped in and snapped out....I wish that they would not have tried to over engineer the gun...the use of moon clips would have been great....
