New EDC knife: Spyderco Tenacious!

Thanks to you guys for your recommendations on a new EDC knife. I purchased a brand new Spyderco Tenacious online for $29 shipped. Seems to be a great knife, very light IMO, and I like the full flat ground blade, sexy. Over-all I feel that this knife will be my EDC blade for a while to come.

Here it is:

Congrats. I bought one to test out. Great knife for the money! The steel isn't great, but if I run it on the croc sticks every couple of days it stays sharp. I've carried it every day for a month now and have since gone back to my kreined commander.

The tenacious is very well made and the G10 handle scales are hard to beat. I have an Endura which costs 2x the money and I like the Tenacious 10X better. The Tenacious is my favorite Spyderco design. I wish they would make an s30v Tenacious in Golden, CO, I'd be on that like stink on a turd.

Congrats! The Chinese Spydercos are a great deal, I think you will be very happy with it. If you are like me, this will just be the beginning of your Spyderco purchases...

As Travclem said, the steel is not the best, but it does hold a serviceable edge just fine, and sharpens up quickly/easily.

Yea, it seems to be a good knife so far. I like its looks, but as of now thats about all I can say for I have not carried it for any lengthy amount of time to test its durability. But I think this knife will serve the purpose that I need it for, utility/self defense.

I got a Tenacious for a buddy's birthday. He loves it. One hell of a knife for the money.
