When men aren’t afraid to sew
I wanted to share some photos of my brass catcher that I just finished for my G20. It slides on and off and snaps in to place. Took me about 2 hours to build, including the first failed attempt. Enjoy!

That really is a lot better than what I have been doing which
is shooting prone laying on the ground with a 40gal plastic
garbage container laying sideways next to me. I would be ashamed
to show photos of that setup.
Glad you showed these photos because what I have been
thinking was the use of a butterfly net with the handle attached
to my forearm via a special brace which used
a lot of medical elastic so I could slide my forearm into
it and out of it easily.

to the OP, nice work! We need video of it STAYING ON while shootin! If it works, you might buy yourself a new Singer cause you will have some business 'round here

That also would be a great idea if you just attach the butterfly net to the palm of your girlfriends hand instead.

Looks great! Clean brass, no sand or floor dust.
I've been using the hardwires (that was used in the last election to post P-VP) and an old pillow case, propped up on a stand (1x2 wood). It's not mobile with me but it lets me hold the gun more naturally.
Folks, save them polical signs this election year, otherwise they are just waste. They are really useful. Take out the wire and/or use the plastic board to staple targets on.

what about taking an old 1'' light mount ring an drilling it out to accept the wire somehow?? that way you could just lock it on to the rails. easy on/off

I made it to the range today. I was indoors at a busy range and only had to look for 2 cases. I am pretty sure those two bounced strait back out. Worked as well as I could have expected so far. I think the only thing I will add to this is some heatshrink to the wire that goes on the rails.
michael e - Yep, it never budged.
preventec47 - I will be making some more of these and could make you one if you want.
nickE10mm - You'll have to take my word for now. I will try to get some video from Easter weekend at the farm for ya. Stay tuned.

Indeed. It would be a shame if they took your design, improved it and then sold it for less money 
In all seriousness though, (to the OP) it looks great! simple and it works... kind of like a Glock 
How many times did you puncture yourself trying to get those nice bends in the wire?

This is what I've been using:
PVC with mesh ziptied to it. Works pretty well. Some cases still bounce, though so it works best in conjunction with a tarp.

I have a pair to CCW my shotgun.  Being badass never goes out of style.
I used to just hang a sheet from two trees next to where I shoot. Wist I still lived there.
