They are a great buy for the money. I have four of them on various ARs. The latest, of which, is the Micro Dot on an ADT1 mount

I've got the Aimpoint M4 clone I used for a while to see if I liked red dots before actually buying a decent one. Great buy for the money. I like using the eotech circle dot option on it the best. Here's a shot after sighting it in with the rest:

Marshall has a reputation for backing his product. Personally, I wouldn't use it for a serious hd/sd/duty type rifle, but I'd have 0 hesitation to use one on a range gun, or just as a decent optic to learn with.

I think if you are just plinking around at the fun range sure why not. The Aimpoint PRO @ ~$400 delivered is the deal to get IMO.

This would, hands down, be my first suggestion for a hard use or defensive rifle. $400 for an Aimpoint is a killer deal, especially with the features built into the PRO.

this is my first and prob my last AR type rifle I will be running iron sights at first but will prob hold out for quality optics and a one time only buy and not tinker with lesser. I am a elk, antelope, and deer hunter of 30 years and a bolt rifle guy that swears by everything Leupold on my hunting rifles....so it's kinda against my policy to mount lesser quality optics

Primary Arms stuff is good for light duty and practice. Great for rimfires. If you are a Leupold man, then you won't be happy with anything less than the Aimpoint.

I recently purchased one about a month ago. All I have are great remarks for this sweet little optic. For about $100 it's damn hard to beat. The dot is crisp and the sight picture is pretty clear as well. Here is a pic of the PA on my Rem 597.

Count me in the PA supporter camp. I picked one up for an AK and it holds picture all day long. Go to youtube and look at the torture videos people have done to theirs.

If all you are going to do is throw some lead at paper, safe some money and you'll enjoy this dot. The only reason to go better would be if you are planning on using it in a non-recreational use, or if you just wanted to spend money.

That said, if you want to spend some money, I have an Eotech on my AR and I love it to death.

I have the PA micro and M3 multi-reticle. Both are great and have no complaints. I also have the Vortex Sparc, but I actually prefer the PA micro.

PA's customer service is top notch

I have two of their products.

The first was a 6X magnifier mounted on my AR behind my Eotech, which I'v owned for awhile. It's teriffic. The second is a PA Microdot. This is a good product and a great value. I bought it as a package with the Ultimak rail and it is on my Yugo AK. It has at least 1500 rounds through it, including an AK class. No issue at all and it holds Zero all day long despite the abuse I give it.

I lost a piece of my MicroDot due to my own fault. Failed to tighten after a thorough cleaning. PA had a replacement in the mail to me the same day. Customer service is excellent. Really are the best in the customer service business of any vendor I've dealt with. If I can buy something from PA that they carry I ALWAYS go with them.

I have their M4 clone on my M&P15-22 and it works great. Marshall himself will advise against using them on a duty gun. I also have one of their Deluxe 3X magnifiers and it works really well with their sight and my EoTechs/Aimpoints.

PA will in my experience, don't have any idea about Vortex.

I've had a PA Micro on my WASR 10/63 truck gun for a couple years now. Seems to be holding up pretty well.
