XS Big Dot Sights......AMAZING!

Installed an XS Big Dot on my G19 last week and took it for a spin today. -WOW!
With Glock factory sights I consider my shooting skills to be fair to average. With my Big Dot I now put myself at a self-proclaimed good to pretty darn good.
Shooting at 10 yards I hit everything I was aiming for, so easy, just "dot the I" like they say. I experienced no target obstruction because the dot was "too big" as some have complained about.
For me it's Big Dots from now on. I couldn't be happier.

Congrats, I have a pair on all my Glocks, M&P and may put one one my XD. Quick target acquisition and shooting with both eyes open is so easy

Yeah the relatively fat Glock plastic sight picture isn't the most conductive to accurate shooting. But I think to be truly accurate with the XS sight system takes more effort than putting a good set of square edge sights on.

I put some on my G23 and was shooting super low
So I'm going to try the Stock Rear sight.
It looks OK so far with the bore-sight.

Bad pic don't know how to focus on sight and
distant laser spot
PS: yes I bent the rear sight putting it back on doh

Have installed XS Big Dot on Glock 30. If you follow the sighting instructions it shoots about 6 inches high at 10 yards. Not real happy about the sight. Going to contact XS company to see if they can do something.

Let us know what you find out. I was thinking about putting a set of these on my 30.

Had my gun smith dress up an old Colt Officers Model last fall with the Big Dots (along with trigger job, beavertail and checkering of front strap) Turned that old hunk of metal that lived in the back of safe shelf into one of my favorite guns. My eyes were never great, and now as I'm getting older, love anything that helps. Not made for bulls-eye X shooting, but they keep me on the paper and do so pretty quickly.

I really like X/S sights. I have them on handguns, rifles, and shotguns. They show up against any background.

If you find it's not shooting to what you think is point of aim, go back to the range and keep firing until you're hitting what you want to hit. Once you find out where to hold the sights, it's no longer an issue. Sights on a handgun, especially a close quarters fighting handgun, aren't meant to be precision target sights. They're meant to get you into the ballpark; knowing yourself, and knowing your weapon after adequate training, does the rest, and results in accurate fire (no matter which sighting system you use).

I like them so much on my G20, I put them on my G33. Out of the 5 Glocks I own, the G20 with XS sights is what I am most accurate with until 20 yards and then the Gen 4 G17 has the edge.
