To all the guys who've been testing for awhile...

I was you until yesterday. About 2.5 years at it, and I got the conditional offer for an awesome local corrections facility. I can tell you, this feeling IS worth all the effort... Keep at it, dont give up, sooner or later itll pan out if youre good to go. REALLY looking forward to day one.

Thank you to CT, Ive been learning alot as a lurker from you seasoned vets, and I think your valuable insight and experience has played a huge factor in my process.

Sadly, in the LE field, a 2 to 3 year wait is not that unusual. Congrats.

Nice, I know the feeling as well, I sent in my application before Christmas and now have a conditional job offer with the academy starting in July. It is an amazing feeling to know all that hard work got me somewhere and made it all worth it.

Congrats OP!

I am right there with you my friend. Over 3 years for me before I got my official letter telling me to start the academy last week. I start in June.

Good luck to you!
