Good IDPA holsters?

Can anyone suggest any good holsters for IDPA and other gun games?

I like Comp-tac's paddle holster for IDPA. if budget is limited, the Glock sports holster fits the bill.

It's hard to beat a Blade-Tech OWB with fixed belt loops. See www.blade-tech.com

I have one of those too. Great holster. My wife uses a Galco Matrix, same configuration.

I've used these for years. I buy them for all new guns. They are great for the range, and they work fine for carry as well.

My favorite holste TDKR everything is my Raven Phantom. It is my everyday carry holster and therefor my IDPA holster, too. I have a total of the Phantoms, one for my Glock 21 and two for my different M&P autos. Cannot say enough good things about Raven.

Do not overlook the Glock Sport/Combat holster. That is one great holster and one that I used for EDC and IDPA. I still have two of them, both with a lot of miles on them, and while I don't use them because of the Phantom, I wouldn't get rid of them for any reason!

For IDPA, shoot with what you carry daily. For me, that means CompTac.

If you like "the game"... CompTac OWB paddle holsters.

I haven't tried CompTac, but I use my carry holster for games.

I am a fan of the Serpa holsters. But they dont come in the color I want. I use one in USPSA shooting with an offset.

I am looking into IMI Defense. I want a tan holster to go with my FDE Glock 21. IMI makes their holsters in Tan. I hope to dye it FDE.

Im not a fan of holsters that have belt loops. I prefer the paddle.

if theres a timer, its a "Competition". it is not Thunder Ranch self-defense training course. its a "GAME" with set of rules to follow that differs from other disciplines. If CompTac paddle holster is allowed within the rules, why handicap yourself? save the level 3 serpa for a self-defense course.

Thanks for replies guys, I am going to order the

Comp-tac Pro Competition rig and BladeTech SRB and see which I like and then either return or sell the other one.

Did you guys order direct, or is there and online site that carries these?

I have and love the Comp-Tac paddle, allows a very quick draw and the fit is awesome.

Carry holster if you conceal carry. Other than that whatever you can find and like to use. There is no one answer for everyone.

I've used Blade-Tech IWB's for years, but if you're strapped for cash, the simple Glock Sport/Combat will do just fine. I do suggest a dual or two single magazine pouches, though.

Best, Jon

I like my Blackhawk CQC for IDPA and USPSA Production. For USPSA Limited it's a CR Speed race holster. The CQC is inexpensive and adjustable--very nice, though I cant find fault with ANY of the recommendations you have so far.
