Doesn't NC have some of the weakest immigration laws in the south? No ID needed to get a drivers liscense and you can register to vote at the same time.

Its amazing how many NC construction trucks are in SC. Most have non-Caucasian and Non African American drivers..

I work for the largest health care provider in the country..

With O's relection and ObamaCare full speed ahead you guessed it.

We had a call today...they laid off a lot of middle management; based on our entire workforce size we slashed about 17%. Most are leaving on good terms and are being given two weeks to close out projects and hand stuff off. there was one melt down I know of...I'm sure the rest are thinking 1) reference 2) there is always a chance something else might open up internally

And of course in stride the VP told those of us left need to figure out ways to get more efficient; she also mentioned the fact we are all salary and this means you don't work a 40 hour week. I haven't in years but still.

This weekend seems like a great time to polish up the resume.

Ah yes, but welfare has no layoffs nor unemployment so that's one place we don't have to worry about losses.

Maybe we all ought to quit our jobs, close businesses, go on welfare and let Nobummer take care of us. I could use a permanent vacation, paid healthcare, housing subsidy, food, a new car, gold and diamond jewelry, tat's, child care, etc.

The store I work at is adding 1-2 positions...so they can cut all part timers from 32 hours to 24. From the owner's mouth, because of Obama's reelection ensuring that his policies take effect.

I closed my business this year, in part due to the economy. I have evaluated reopening but feel tepid. My reasons are taxes and the EPA. I have no employees but if I did I would factor that in too. I take a big loss this year, one I will find it difficult to recover from.

Folks need to understand the natural progression of things here. If business owners and investors lay too many people off due to leftist government, the leftists will eventually seize your business to let the government run it. If you object, you'll be disposed of.

That's the ultimate plan anyway.
