Weapon light on my Glock, .357 Sig

Hello Mas and Merry Christmas Greetings,

Well, I finally purchased my .357 Sig and mounted the dual illuminated RMR sight from Trijicon. I wrote to you last month with concerns about FTF in Glocks with mounted weapon lights. Your reassurance that it was the older .40's that exhibited this occasional problem was reassuring. You stated I should look for a weapon light that does not use a, "screw type mounting system" to attach the light to the rail. I keep looking but must have weak search FU or something.

They all seem to have a screw type mountr. I am wondering if you would please suggest the light you would choose? Would the Surefire X series work? I have one on my AUG right now and could try it but want to make the correct choice before putting several hundred more rounds downrange with a poor choice of light (ammo cost is my concern).

Thank-you for all the help and advice you have shared with all of us. Being a 58 year old guy with NH roots I have a lot of respect for you.

Chris

PS The RMR with the 9 MOA green dot really helps get my old eyes on target quickly and my groups are improved.

Yo, homeboy! The RMR on the glock is working for lots of folks, particularly in the older age demographics. Glad it's working for you!

I've had perfect performance with the X-series SureFires on my G31, and expect that you will, too.

best,
Mas

Mas,

Thank-you for that NH greeting and also for your advice on the weapon light. Merry Christmas and as always, much respect.

Chris
