Very nice. M9s are one of my favorites.
I have an M9 and an M9A1. I think I need another M9...

Congrats!!
I have had a 92FS since 1992. Only thing I replaced was the fixed rear sight for a adjustable one.

Congrats..im still debating(for a full size 9mm as I dont have a full size semi auto of any kind anymore...just the Ruger SR9c for CC) the Taurus "knockoff" of the M9/Beretta in the PT92/99(just like the controls placement better) good guns love that design.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love your new Berretta. I owned two. Slide to frame fit is excellent. Rack the slide, and it feels like it's gliding on greased bearings. The only reason I parted with mine is because I could not adjust to the slide mounted safety.

I got my M9 back in Oct. While one of the least practical gun in my arsenal, it is my favorite to shoot!!! It feels like I'm shooting from a cloud. So soft on the recoil, right on target. It is truly my favorite plinking gun.

Nice pistol. I say that as someone who prefers just about the opposite of everything the M9 is: exposed hammer, full size, steel frame, manual safety. But it was the first pistol I was ever interested in after seeing Lethal Weapon and about a thousand other movies that feature this gun.
I wish their cases were more Glock-like though. I just bought a Beretta Neos .22 and previously had a PX4 Storm subcompact and they all have the same cheap case. Beretta makes some nice guns but their cases sure are crap.

I did them all myself this morning. Follow the videos on the beretta92fs.com site. He shows how to completely tear it down and put it together by particular part or component.
I had to use a roll pin punch to get out the mainspring/lanyard bushing pin and a dental pick from my AR cleaning kit when putting the trigger together to move the trigger spring around.
Nothing difficult at all. Just watch the vids a couple times. Each video is about a minute.

Not to be negative but are you sure that is an M9? The M9's come in a cardboard box that say M9 all over it and the tag that comes attached to it is an American flag not Beretta. Maybe Beretta changed there latest versions but that is how they came when I bought mine.

I've got the 92, 96, and PX. I don't think I've ever had a failure of any sort with any of them. Strong machines, they are.
Congrats on your purchase!

Congrats!! You're going to love it. I have a 92fsA1 and, although I don't shoot it often, have never had any issues. And a pat on the back for Beretta for giving their customers three mags with the purchase!!

hsp,
Congrats on the excellent catch! Let me know if/where you can find some std. capacity magazines. I've recently added a 92FS, and can't find any decently-priced magazines anywhere.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone for all the comments..... I'm excited about this purchase and have never really heard anything bad about this particular Beretta.... They had the Italian made 92fs but I chose the M9 because it's made in the USA and it didn't have the textbook printed on the slide.... Lol

I think you will enjoy it. I have the Inox version now, and I have considered getting a second one in black.
