That's good! That's the way it should be.
A government should fear it's people, not the other way around.

I think the gun control debate has reminded Washington DC of this fact.

Same thing was done at Ronnie's inauguration.

Close to the same thing would happen when President Bush would visit our base.

All arms rooms had to report full accountability of all assigned weapons.

Everyone on base had to go through metal detectors and pat downs conducted by the SS when entering the meeting area.

All traffic (ground and air) on base and off base in the surrounding city would be locked down during his arrival and departure from the Campbell Army Airfield.

Ditto. I was there for that dog and pony show too. The "fun meter" was pegged. I am soooooo happy to be retired!
