Certified Glock Armorer Cert. for Firefighter/EMT

Does anyone know if it's possible for us non-LEO first responders to receive this certification?

We are permitted to carry in my fire co. with the crap that went down in NY and GA this past year with people using us volunteers for target practice since we are supposedly unarmed.

Being a guy that never passes up an opportunity for more training of any type, I'd take the Certified Glock Armorers course if it came to my area or a nearby town, but the courses appear to be open only to firearms dealers or LEOs.

If anyone knows anything I don't on this subject please fill me in.

Anyone may take the armorer course as a benefit to joining GSSF.
