My late dad used to have an old 380. The barrel lands were so pitted kala mo kinayod ng maliit na rake. Surprisingly, that thing still shot extremely well and had decent groups even when using an almost non-existent sights.

Barrel pitting is when your barrel started to rust like moon crater when you viewed it from the end of the barrel.Use a good light from the chamber, normally pitting starts from the end (nuzzle), since moist enters from the end.
Your accuracy will be affected as your target range increases.
