Ultimate Fighter

Man, the Ultimate Fighter last night was great. Two tough fights. The last one when the guy tapped out with two seconds left in the round was really something to watch. He must have really been cranking on his arm to get him to tap. The headlock looked like he was going to choke the guy out. I have no idea how he got out of that headlock.

The first fight with Sam was fun to watch. I couldn't wait to see Sam put out. That was the first time I saw Sam's skill. He actually was pretty good at arm's length. He had no skills in the clinch or on the ground.

This Saturday at 8 is the finals on Spike. They are replaying all of the previous shows starting at like 10am in the morning. I got my TIVO set up to get it all.

I'd like to see Diego win but it's going to be a tough one.

I'm just glad to see that Diego beat the cocky guy with the blond afro hairdo. That match wasn't nearly as close as the score, and had there been another 15 seconds in the first round, he would have had the submission.

I wonder of the ref who scored the match for the blond afro hair guy was from the Don King School of Refereeing?

1. Guillotine choke, not headlock.

2. Screamed when I saw him begin to lock out the arm. Beautiful Triangle armbar.

How about that light heavyweight match Sunday night? That was the best match I've ever seen.

Too bad for Ken Shamrock ...

That was a great fight. I really thought Bonnar won it. I was surprised by the verdict. I scored it round 1 to Forrest and 2 to Bonnar and 3 was either a tie or Bonnar. Round 2 was decisive for Bonnar.

Great action. Definitely the best I've seen.

Kenny didn't have a chance. We knew that going in. Unless he caught Diego with a lucky elbow he was going to be tapped out quick. Everyone knew it. Kenny's a tough kid and I got to respect him but he was outmatched out of his weight class.

The Shamrock fight I really don't know what to think about. Shamrock was way slow to react to his fall and got pounded as a result.
