I don't really want to have to leave my gun in the car while at the aquarium... but if i must...

Last time I was there (admittedly, this was like five years ago) they didn't have them, and I don't believe the aquarium was posted. Their website does not make any mention of a weapons policy, either.

I went earlier this year and left my gun in the car, and was kicking myself in the ass when we got up to the door. They didn't have any detectors, and I didn't see any postings.

I'm a cop, so I don't watch terribly closely, but I recall no postings, and no metal detectors last time I was there.

Well that stuff is very thick usually, i think at the ATL aquarium they have a display and it's almost 8inches thick? Could be more.

While reading these responses, I couldn't help but recall the scene in one of the "Lethal Weapon" movies, when Mel Gibson shoots the bad guy's huge wall aquarium....with a Beretta.
