How Hard is it to Upgrade a Seiko Monster to Sapphire/Cyclops Crystal?

I'm looking at the possibility of upgrading my Seiko Black Monster's crystal from mineral to sapphire and what best way to do it than getting a factory Seiko Monster Sapphire Crystal with Factory Rectangular Cyclops from either the Yellow or Red edition Monsters.

Questions are:

How hard are they to get? Would Seiko do the swap or is this something that you would trust to a local watchmaker?

I don't know how hard they are to get, sorry. I know there are a few vendors that sell aftermaket sapphire, unfortunately without cyclops. If you can get the part send it and the watch to Jack Alexis @ IWW, Bob Thayer or Duarte at NEWW.

You may want to ask this question at the Seiko Citizen Watch Forum.

If yopu source the part, please post here where you got it. Thanks.

Call some local jewelry repair stores. I'm sure one of them can do it.
