Cool. I still have to get around to ordering the first so I have some understanding of what's going on in the sequel.

Hi Sgt.,
How difficult was it for you to get the first one published? And how much easier on the second?
Also, how hard was it to plot out the first, versus the second?

Funny story on the publishing....I'll PM you on that. As far as the plot, its what I call "reality based" fiction. Between current events, my job training (law enforcement), and my imagination..it was actually easy and flowed much better than I thought. The sequel is a direct continuation of the first book. Its a border war/invasion story. Very real characters, very real concept. The second book is a MUCH better work both story wise and in a literary sense. Writing truly is a learning experience.

I'm about halfway through your book. Very good, so far and very realistic and believable. I'll definitely get the second.

Are their plans for a third? Or will it become a series? That would be very cool. If I have any success with my first novel, I would definately want to turn it into a full series. I'm constantly creating ideas that can't be worked into my current novel, so I write 'em down for future usage.

Its coming!!!
Just got my first proof from the editors. It looks like late Feb. Early March for a release date. This cover isn't exactly as it will be but very close. Just thought I'd updated.
