Uh-oh
I made the mistake of trying on a JSAR today.
This danged watch habit is cutting into my gun money, or is my gun habit cutting into my watch money?

You are so right, we are drawn to acquire both watches/guns  Long ago and far away I started with a hand wind,then of course an automatic(those in ever increasing value)until I went quartz for about 10 years. Then I felt compelled to buy just one automatic, and now I'm obsessed with hand winds again. They ROCK!

I get all the Marathons mixed up. Is the JSAR auto or quartz? Congrats either way.

JSAR and TSAR are quartz. Doesn't bother me, but I know several people that would love to have an auto JSAR.
I don't have one, yet. I was worried that it would be too big for me, as everything you read says it's huge. My fears have been put to rest. I'll be getting one after I get my Ruger Single Six.
