Royal Manchester Five

About 3 years ago , I asked you guys if anyone has heard about this company
Youu invest 200k and they invest it in currency trading and you get paid 5% interst a month
Sila yung hinahanap ng NBI ngayon for the latest billion peso pyramiding scam
I think it was Antedeluvianist who said nakaaamoy siya ng scam that time
Pero , maganda pakiramdam ko sa kanya......so I invested....
Just kidding , last minute I backed out hehe buti nalang ininvest ko sa CAP

Investing in pre-need ANYTHING is total bollocks in this environment.
I prefer to stay nearly liquid, or else cherry-pick real estate,
thank you very much.

Three years ago I also invested P 100k. It really is a gamble. I went for it since a friend invested P 500k. After six months I told my friend let us unload at nakakatakot na to. I was given 4% per month. I'm quite addicted to gambling kaya sabi this ain't bad. Was happy with my P 24,000 interest. The person who sort of recruited us won't stop budgering me to invest again. Hmmm. Siya kaya ngayon ang inisin ko?

For the long term, I enjoy what the real estate industry offers and the stock market too. Happy Easter.

sir allegra no wonder of a lot of people gut sucked there kasi very enticing nga naman yun deal nya but you know what they say if its too good to be true then it is.enticing lalo na ngayon bagsak ang interest rate ng usd i was shocked to receive my automatic roll over of my US TD from 2.6% naging 1.3% ordinary deposit is .25% na lang yata a year eh kaya if you sum it parang mas ok pa ang peso ngayon but what i did is to convert it to another currency yun much stable naman compared sa usd.

hehe pinapaganda ko lang yung story
I did invest sa CAP but only because it was also our top real state agent who sold it to me. Di naman ako magalit sa kanya at malakas din sya magbenta ng lupa ko CAP is legit naman and it was no fault of his
My main business is real estate and construction btw
Gambler din ako , 5% is normal lang sa lending biz kaya di naman siya too good to be true
And I've lost even bigger investing sa real estate than anything I'd like to invest sa scams na yan
Fortunately , yung mga swerteng deals outnumbers the minalas , pero humahabol din haha
Henry Sy , Lucio Tan didnt get rich by being timid
Yun nalang nilalagay ko sa utak ko so I dont kill myself hehe

Nice mindset you got there Sir Allegra.

In my case I got furious with my agent ng CAP, nung maniningil ng premium before ang bilis nasa bahay ko, pero nung claim na pina pa-asikaso ko ni hindi man lang kinilos ni-isoli yung documents ako pa pumunta sa bahay niya sobra naman.

I also invested in CAP. I had cashed in the first year of my son's HS educ plan when CAP went belly up. Guess I'll just have to wait for 2010 to get the remaining 3-years worth of benefits left from the plan.

What I hate about the whole thing is that policies or contracts issued by companies like CAP are just crap. These companes can walk away from the very contracts they drafted under the guise of corporate rehab. And the courts were just so happy to accomodate them. To hell with what the SEC had to say.

Yeah, what can all those poor planholders do against "Tito Al" (as the President calls him) Yuchengco? There's simply no consumer protection in this country if you're up against a tycoon or a taipan.

Oh yeah, my mistake. Pacific was what I had in my mind. But same predicament for the poor planholders.

BTW, one of the top officers of Royal Manchester was nabbed by the NBI in our subdivision (taga roon pala!) last Holy Thursday. They found him hiding in an unoccupied, newly-built house (his brother-inlaw's) in Phase 5. A few days earlier, the NBI raided his own house in Phase 1 but he was able to elude them. Someone daw tipped off the NBI about his new location.
