Howdy again,
I am unable to logon correctly except through the reply to thread pop-up login box. I am logging in on the side login box after the initial page and it says I'm logging in and redirecting, but it does not and just puts up the login box with my info in it. Please advise.

Eric, I am asking again if there is anything you can do to restore the Texas holdem poker game. There was a rather fun bunch, playing on a regular basis, that really miss the game and the camaraderie. Thanks for your help.

I was unable to log on when I was on the Jersey shore this weekend. I thought I was banned.

Is there a bug where one can not log on while using a different IP address?

I tried to log on, it accepted my user name and password. The site welcomed me and promptly returned to the sign in page.

8:56 PM 10/28/2008

While on this page: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/foru...aysprune=&f=95
I clicked the Blogs text link on the white-lettered, brown-background menu that is the 2nd menu from the top of the page. Got this error result:

Been having some problems staying logged in when using Google's Chrome browser. Everything works fine on IE and Firefox, but when I browse GT with Chrome, the site doesn't let me stay logged in. GT is the only site that has had this problem for me.

This is probably related to the other posters with login issues in this thread. Might be prudent for them to post what browser they're using?

Upgraded to XP SP3 and am using Firefox. Can still only log in on a thread reply request pop-up for login. Other logins act as if they are logging me in but do not.

Eric,

The Texas Holdem poker game has been down a month.
Can you see if it can be turned back on or is it broken completely?

Thanks,
snuffy33

GT Poker is really missed

Eric
I realize the holdem poker was in a test mode, however, It really is missed by a group of
GT'ers. meeting fellow shooters from across the country in that arena has been fun. If you can find a way to restart the program it will be greatly appreciated

Holdem room

Am also awaiting the return of the poker room

If it is an "Ajax powered" version of "gpoker". It will be worth the wait

As others have said, a big thanks to TBH and the others for their time and effort

Please fix the Texas hold-em game..

I thought it was just my computer but now I see, it affected everyone...We did have a nice group who played that game almost every night..East coast gt'ers earlier in the evening and west coast gt'ers later at night..

It was a nice place to meet and chat with other members..Playing cards was only part of it..Could you please fix it if possible..Thanks ERIC.

This may be a glitch?

Numerous times I am finding that if I place my cursor on the blue arrow so that I would be taken to the last post in a thread, instead a kind of popup balloon appears with the URL for one of the advertisers. When this happens clicking on the blue arrow in an attempt go directly to the last post in a thread, insteads results in a new IE window opening up by itself which displays the advertiser site that was named in text in the 'balloon'. This is happening when my cursor is directly over the 'go to last post' arrow, and is not encroaching on any advert which is located close TO that blue arrow.

Could this be because adverts are placed IN threads..... so the actual "last post" in a thread is an advert?

For example, this morning I've had this happen more than three times, once for Tactical Night Vision (http://tacticalnightvision.com/) , once for http://www.swatmag.com/ , several times for http://www.lonewolfdist.com/ , at least once for http://www.swfa.com/ , and at least once for http://www.rainierarms.com/

Eventually the actual last post will display in the original IE window, but a second window automatically opens up to one of the above-noted advert URLs. I tried to get a screen capture which also showed the location of my curser, but could only grab the following (attached)

When this happens, the actual loading of the GT thread's page is greatly slowed down, sometimes taken 30 or more seconds to actually appear.
