There are spark plugs mounted in the tailpipes with a coil and control unit in trunk. He pushes a button on the dash which briefly stops the car ignition (this lets unburned fuel go to the tailpipes). When the ignition stops, the plugs in the tailpipe fire igniting the raw gas in the pipe. There are some units that use a propane tank in the trunk with lines to the tailpipe instead of killing the ignition. A lot easier on the car engine, but dangerous having propane in trunk. Flamethrowers are not legal for street use.

I decided to stimulate the economy a bit this weekend. I am now officially an old fart with mid-life crisis.

That's beautiful. I think I could deal with being middle aged given the appropriate toys.

Beautiful car!!! Traded the Z4? I'm still dreaming of getting an M3 someday. An M5 or M6 is wayyyyyyyy out of my league. Enjoy!

I guess that's why I love custom 1911s so much.

You have VERY refined taste. As evidenced by your superb Bren Ten. Bravo!

I will play.

My "Jeep" collection.

1. Lamborghini LM002
2. AMG G55 Gelaendewagen
3. Hummer H1

I needed something "cute" to transport my assault rifles to the range.

Got rid of the stupid 1st-4th CAGS crap. Hoping for new exhaust and an x-pipe for Christmas, and longtube headers aren't far away.
