New Mexico USA Glockers
All from NM will understand the reason for the the USA added to the title. New Mexico IS part of the US. It is NOT part of old Mexico. The state is located between Arizona and Texas just north of the Mexican border. For now, english is the legal language and we use the American dollar to buy ammo NOT the peso.
New Mexicans were given the right to conceal carry by Govenor Bill Richards. It's the only thing as I can see that he got right while in office here. Most of his time in office has been spent out of state trying to get a better paying job. I have heard taht a lot of his friends have became wealthy during his time as gov and his wife has made millions with her business.
I love my new state. I was born and raised in Florida, but have owned a business and ranch here since 1997. I love America, but fear my government more and more as time goes by. I have worked as a Federal LEO and have seen things that just make me want to scream when it comes to wasteful spending of tax dollars. I did enjoy the job very much and the training was the best.
I carried a S&W 686 and a Sig P220 while working in LE. The Sig is just plain sexy. I know that sounds stupid, but it's just one good lookin pistol. The 686 could punch very tight holes in a target, but I was glad to transion over to the Sig. 45.
I bought a Sig P220 after leaving LE, but sold it after I found that a Glock 30 I had bought was giving me better groups at the range. Tactical shooting was even better with the Glock. I've got big hands so , maybe the fact that I took the extra splot second to get a good grip with the shorter Glock made the difference. I now have a Glock 21 and just ordered the 13 round mags before obama and hsi thugs makes it illegal. Oops didn't mean to get political there, but if you must know, I didn't vote for obama. I just can't afford to be a liberal. I work for a living.
My wife and I own a ranch here in the state where we conduct elk , deer and bear hunts in the fall. the Glock is easy to keep clean and is pretty rugged, but I still want another Sig P220 for some reason. I hate the fact that I will be giving up rounds, but I like the fact that the Sig will easier to conceal, lighter and more comfortable up against the ribs. When the bears are out of their dens, I carry a S&W 44 mag while out on the ranch any ways.
I had casings stove pipe the Glcok a few times when limb wristing during tactical shooting when I first got the Glock years ago. Has anyone else found that to be the case for them?
