I am just finding this and am sad to hear of his death. I have read his posts on this forum and others for years. He was always level headed and a good example of an atheist. As a proud atheist myself, it was nice to have a little company. Often we are vastly out numbered but heretic could always hold his own in conversations and discussions about religion.

Its been a long time since I have been on this forum but I have very fond memories of Heretic and his elegantly worded queries at the edge of the abyss to which he was most certainly not afraid of gazing into.

Oh, well. I didn't agree with him but will miss him as a human being.
Christian pacifism is an option not a requirement.

The Christian faith is in no way pacifistic.
