I just sent my ENG###US G23 in for the frame recall (or "upgrade" is the euphemism Glock is using). It came back with a new frame SN of G39###, not the usual 3 letter/3 number format.

That's a "replacement frame" number. There are special numbers for replacement barrels and replacement slides too.

No date code unless it has Austrian markings. Otherwise, call Glock OR look at the little brown envelope containing two fired casings. What's the date that envelope
