50 round drum for the S&W 15-22...

Kevin at Black Dog Machine modified a standard AR tower to make his 50 round drum work in the S&W 15-22. If you'd be interested in the conversion tower (if you already own a drum), or a complete drum... you can let him know at: http://blackdogmachinellc.net/contact-us.aspx

Here are his pics:

I suppose I should wait until the gun is in my possession, though.

I wish BDM would make a drum for the Ruger 10/22

They are making them... should be available shortly according to Kevin.

In fact the drum itself is inter-changeable among the AR/Sig 522 and 10/22 simply by changing the feed "tower" on top of the drum. Kevin will also be offering the towers separately.

Even sweeter!

That might interest user M2 Carbine, as well.

Sounds good, wonder if there is enough demand for a Remington 597 "tower"

Oh my, am I in trouble.

I just bought 10 BD magazines for the SIG, giving me 13 plus a 15 rounder.

Saturday, 6 friends were taking turns shooting the SIG and loading magazines. I was the camera man.
Later my friend told me they went through 6-7 hundred rounds plus the 340 I already had loaded.

If I get 50 round magazines I'll cause a 22 ammo shortage in the local area again.
