FYI, the G17 is $469.99 plus taxes. Thanks.
$1075 to spend????

$35.00 to join GSSF. (Get purchase certificate from GSSF.)
$398.20 for G19 or $398.20 for G23! (Probably should go with G23.)
Extra mags for either.

40-9 conversion barrel IF you go to G23.
.357 Sig barrel to convert caliber. (G23 mags will work for .357 Sig.)
(Now have 3 calibers - 1 pistol!)

Still should have around $100-$200 for ammo or more magazines.

i would get as many pistols as i could get...ammo is cost of ownership, so your going to have to buy that anyway....so in your case, get a couple pistols, which ever models you want....

My vote is for a G17, or 19 and then a G29sf for a sweet carry gun setup.

Depending on your intended activities for the 9mm I would look at the G19, unless you are thinking it will only be a range gun. Then I would strongly consider reloading, particularly at the prices you are spending on ammo.
