New BCM upper - pros and cons

I received my BCM upper with DD Omega 9 rail last night! Thought I'd provide some detailed technical reviews for anyone else considering this product.

First up, PRO's
Free hat!!

CON's
My danged lower hasn't arrived yet

All kidding aside, the upper assembly and DD rail are rock solid, appear to be fit and finished as one would expect, and the mags and BCG I ordered as well were all packaged to protect against damage or dings.

Very happy customer as long as I get my lower soon!

Dog,

I just posted a few pics of my new BCM. I Love it.
You did good on your choice and another Pro is that when you
get your lower, you'll get another hat.
Got my lower two days ago and got her together yesterday.
I know Colt, Noveske, LMT, and some others get great reviews,
and I know they are probably great AR's, but I could not be more happy with my BCM.
I've placed about 4 orders with Bravo so far and I have to
say that they are one fine company.

Again, I can't say enough good things about Bravo Co. They're products are top notch, shipping is lightning fast, customer service is outstanding, and the prices are good.

And the free hat you get with the uppers is nice, even my GF likes it

I wouldn't say the price is unbeatable... M1S is probably the best price on similar setups.

Not to start a pissing match, but their quality of components are
nowhere near as good as the BCM parts/pieces.

I'll accept that... but if we're talking about a Cerro Forge (keyhole) upper, aftermarket rails by (DD, LaRue, MI), and a barrel, is it the manufacture of the barrel that's messed up?

Maybe it's the BCG? I know dudes get craaaaaazy about "proper staking."

I know they have a bad rep, but I've never seen where they've earned it...

Unbeatable for milspec quality. That is what I was saying.

You can certainly find better prices. But you will not find a better combination of price and quality.

Model 1 has not impressed me. Never seen them not screw it up in the 4 times I have seen people deal with them, personally.

That was my impression, but you can find Colt 6920s now for cheaper than what you can build a BCM for.
