So you love your AR15 but equally love your shotgun???
This has to be the most AR15-ish shotgun I have ever seen!
Magpul UBR buttstock
Magpul AFG fore grip
Magpul MIAD grip
Magpul MBUS rear flip up sight
Magpul XTM rail covers
Surefire TLT-1 light
Holographic sight
The funny thing is that it actually looks functional vs just for looks. I never liked vertical fore grips on shotguns so the AFG actually makes sense, adjustable LOP is always welcome, and a holographic both eyes open sighting system is also nice. I actually like this tacticool shotgun unlike alot of the bolt on useless crap thats out there.

I just don't see how a shotgun is worth all that to upgrade

Its not worth it at all if you have other vices like drugs or alcohol or hookers. But if you have the time money and really nothing else to do...why not?
Sometimes reconfiguring an existing gun can be just as fun as buying a new gun. Well for me anyways. I am not building a shotgun like this but I dont knock it.

I like the first one but why an MBUS? There's no front sight to use unless the buidler isn't done yet? I also think the UBR is a little heavy. I am very interrested in doing the Mesa Tactical adapter (the high version) with an Aimpoint T-1 but I think I'll go with a little lighter stock like the ACS or CTR. I also think I want to tap the rail into the upper receiver so its 100% solid before I put an optic on it. Doesn't matter, I'm broke and will be for awhile, just doing the research now. They look good. Way too much gadgetry for a shotgun but I still want to do it, makes it more like an AR and would be fun for 3 gun-Norcal911

I wonder with all those upgrades is the recoil going to be reduced???
To me the only upgrade really worth it would be Knoxx stock with recoil reduction. Second would be big dot night sites. Nothing beats a pump shotty with fast follow up shots.

the more weight you add the less the felt recoil will be....

I don't think it would be much of a recoil reducer but having the stock lined up exactly with your bore like that has to help with muzzle rise. The added weight is going to help a little-Norcal911

Sure it's tacticool. But without the electronic sights...you think you could line your eyes with the bead? I don't know about you guys, but I don't like lugging that much weight around for a shotty, I wouldn't mind if my AR is heavy cause I can actually use it long and short range...but a shotty? Now it looks cool...

Well if you load it with slugs you can hit targets at longer distances (easier and faster) than with almost any semiauto handgun.
