Wilson Combat CQB 5'' 1911 with 8+1 230 gr hydrashocks, 2 reloads on the belt in a slim holster, Glock 27 with crimson trace laser grip and mag extension 11+1 180gr Gold dots on ankle, ASP street defender OC ku-baton sprayer in pocket, CRKT 4 inch M21 special forces knife, and sometimes a taser C2.
Sometimes I replace the 1911 with a Glock 21 and 2 reloads...

G23C or G26 - it just depends on the amount of room i have to spare IWB, tucked in shirt, suit vs. jeans, etc.

I have 3 on my permit, A Kimber Pro BP Ten II .45ACP it is a polymer framed double stack holding ten rounds, A springfield XD .40 S&W, and a 2" Rossi in .357 Mag. The revolver is the gun i carry when I dont feel like carrying a gun. My only issue with Wheel guns is capacity.

I don't have a CCP yet but once I get one I'll be carrying either a full size Springfield 1911, a 9mm Glock19, or a .38Spl Ruger LCR.

I am looking to purchase my 1st CCW. Would you recommend the G27 or the G30.
I was leaning towards the 30.

How about "it depends" for a lame answer? The 27 is smaller and easier to conceal. The 30 has a larger ammo capacity (9+1 versus 10+1). However, ammo for the 30 is more expensive than the 27. From personal experience, I find the 30 easier to shoot accurately and I have no difficulty carrying it concealed.
I recommend finding a gun range where you can rent each, shoot a couple hundred rounds through each and buy the one that you are more comfortable with.

Thanks RickD6023
How does the 30 SF compare to the 27?
I think I prefer the .45 ACP over the .40 S&W.
I have read hundreds of articles, but like you said, grab it ,shoot it, and go from there. Thanks for the advice.
P.S. I was stationed at George AFB back in 86-87.

I was in the 20TFTS training Germans to fly the F-4E at that time (84-88) and then in the Academic squadron as a civilian contractor through 91.
The only time I handled a 30SF and a 36 I felt that it was too narrow for my paw.
