I definitely will. I got a new scope mount ready and I'm itching to get out there to do photos and a video.

Oooooh is that a new load? Shame CB is so damn expensive I bet that'd be a real good social load but it's priced out of my reach, sigh...

I think you'll be amazed. What AK is this going in? Romy/Yugo/AMD/Bulg/Saiga?????
I bet that will easy knowck one MOA clean off, maybe two. That stuff would be a great reach out and seriously touch someone at 3-5 hunnard yards!

I'm bringing my new freshly converted Saiga and my Vepr.
I plan on shooting them side by side as a comparison with the same ammo.
I got a separate scope mounts this time for each. I will use benched sand bags. A 24x and a 32x scope. Unlike most other 7.62x39 commercial loads which have a slightly undersized bullet .310 or .3095, this is the first comercial
load I seen that uses the proper .311 size bullet. The fact that the bullet is made by sierra also makes this a very interesting load.

It actually mushrooms like a soft point is suppose to according to what I have seen about sierra prohunter 30 caliber bullets. Sierra makes these bullets
balanced enough to spin in much higher RPMs than most any other domestic hunting bullet. Probably not that far off in balance from their match king bullets which are Sub .3 MOA potential in very good bolt guns.
Wolf black box bullets are far from being any where as near balanced as these and after measuring several wolf bullet diameters with calipers I saw
.3105, .3102 , .3097, etc Not having consistent diameters is really bad for
accuracy. The actual weights vary as well and the powder charges vary enough to make them inconsistent. I can't remember where I saw a video of someone pulling the bullets and comparing wolf to other russian ammo.
It really trailed behind barnaul consistency or ULY. Wolf is the bottom of the totem pole in quality.

Looking at the .308 factory loads, at the muzzle, it is similar to what the .308 loads are at 175 yards down range.

There used to be 154gr wolf out there. It worked well on deer out of my sks.

154sp is definitely the "put some hurt" at longer distances round for an AK.

I am sure that ammo would perform very well out of a Yugo SKS as well.

As I have always said - crappy ammo is one or two of the MOA on any AK.
Go get some Federal Powershock SP's and shoot that. You'll see. $20 for 20.
I assume the Corbon is more like $50 for 20. But you should treat yourself once just to know it's not the ammo (which leaves you or the gun).
You gotta get out of the cheap rocks attitude. An $800 Bulgarian/Saiga with that corbon is a TOTALLY different creature than a Romy with Bear.
And yes - I find the Corbon VERY prohibitive for every day (or even every month use). But for occasions where accuracy counts (like a hunt, or an SD ready mag)...hard to argue.

I have reloaded 7.62x36. I was not able to better my Wolf group, so very interested in your results.
Please test from a bagged bench, 5 shot group, 1 to the side, measure with calipers.
group-extra hole = final group size.
we will also need a group of wolf or othe mass marketed ammo to judge the corbon to.

For what it's worth, the 150 Corbon SP has the worst accuracy of any load I've tried in my CZ 527 bolt action 7.62x39. We're talking 4" at 100 yards bad.
Best ammo is Monarch FMJ and Federal SP which both average about 1.5".
