Anyone know where I can buy some Federal LE 00 Buck?
I'm looking for this particular ammo for HD.
FEDERAL TACTICAL 00 9 BALL BUCKSHOT (LE132-00) - 5 ROUND BOX
I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Check www.ammoman.com. $249 for 250 rounds. In stock. Man, that's some pricey stuff!

Whoa pricey. Plus I don't need that many. Thanks for looking though. I'll probably just have to get a different kind of ammo. Possibly the Winchester Ranger LEO's. Let me know if anyone finds them for sale by the 5 rd box.

Checkout ammunitiontogo.com. I've bought a bunch of both LE132-00 and LE127-00 from them. I don't think you're going to find either much cheaper than a .80ish a round shipped.

I 3rd ammunitiontogo.com. Check out the S&B 00 buck.(12 pellet) I've never used it personally, but I've heard it's very good ammo. More pellets than the Federal, (12 vs.8) plus it's MUCH cheaper.

I picked up two sleeves of the Federal stuff, at a local gunshow in Nov.
$38.00 for 50 rounds (10 - 5 round boxes).

Sigh. My fault for sleeping on it.
Has anyone heard of the Winchester Supreme Elite? Looks like a crazy round, all black oxidized brass.

I've had really good luck with Ranger Low Recoil. Last time I bought was from OMB. The premium stuff is going to be about a buck a round, but for most shooters it's not a high volume use ammo, as cheap birdshot is typically used for practice.

Everyone is recommending the winchester ranger to me, but I don't really think it will perform well in my gun since it's not brass. It kind of looks like my walmart birdshot loads. I'm not sure if it would jam in my gun due to expansion. Btw I need to polish my bore.

What are you putting it into? Ranger is a high-brass load and has a VERY stiff plastic hull.
I use the Federal #4 in my 870 for home defense, and I'll tell you those Federal hulls are no where near as hard as the Winchester loads.

I bought a case of the Ranger 00 late last year. It was the high brass load.

ATG should tell you about which version you want to buy if you call them.

Cool thanks. I talked to ATG and they said they had the Federal 00 on order. I'll wait untill it pops up and purchase both. In the mean time i'll be using some walmart 00 buckshot.

Nothing wrong with that Walmart stuff, either. It still works.

Gotta agree with Coyote. I've found that the $9/15 boxes of Remington Express from Walmart pattern really well in my primary shotguns (Mossy 930/Winchester 1200).
