Dropped my PM9 and the mag flew apart.

I dropped the gun on the kitchen floor and it must have landed on the mag. The mag flew apart throwing every mag part and round all over the room. Anyone ever have this happen. It was the 9mm six round mag.

I inadvertently hit the mag release on my PM9 at the range last week, and the fully loaded mag fell straight onto the concrete pad. The magazine did not come apart, but a couple of rounds came out of it. The result was a very slight beauty mark on the base plate.

I have never done this before, and it was obviously my fault, but no real damage occurred.

Your magazine must have hit on the corner of the baseplate, and the force was enough to dislodge it from the tabs. Did it re-assemble, and function OK?

The mags seems fine now. No marks and it feeds fine. Just makes me question whether it slid off or popped off.

Not from Kahr. My dealer gets them for me for about that price. Don't know where he gets them don't care as long as the price is right. Never paid him even close to factory list price for a new Kahr either.

And the base plate came off? Was it in the gun or just the mag?

Logically is cheaper than Kahr store, it may come out to Less than $40 shipped while at Kahr will be $46 shipped. +/- you save something. That is where I got it for the PM9.
