Just mailed my order today and will shoot with stock parts this weekend then when I get it I will shoot with the mgsl and try and post pics comparing the two. Now I'm no expert marksman. I'm cross eye dominate so most of my shots tend to go to the left. Looks like the mgsl will fix this. In addition to the mgsl I will also have installed the steel guide rod from arotek with the stock recoil spring and have the brass Seattle slug installed in the opening of the grip. I will be shooting a Gen 3 glock 23.

The MGSL will not fix shooting problems due to the shooter. If you want to fix that youll need some adjustable sights to adjust for your leftward shots

The MGSL increases the accuracy of the gun, not the shooter

I bet it will if the cause of me shooting left is due to a faulty stock slide lock..like discussed in previous posts on this thread about the mgsl...we'll see

you said your cross eye dominant so you tend to shoot left, therefore I assumed that was why your gun is shooting left. If you shoot left with all your guns then the problem is you, if just your glock shoots left then maybe the MGSL will help

Shot my Glock 19 with the new Slide lock in it today. Wow! big improvement in the groups getting tighter and centered.
Well worth the $30 asking price. I already sent a check for two more just to keep in my parts box.

I shoot dead on with other guns...went to the range to do my initial shoot without the mgsl and i'm shooting tighter groups with the stock parts...but i have been doing a whole lot of dry fire training this week..so maybe that helped with my trigger control...however, while I was there i shot the beretta px4 storm for the first time and I was dead on each time and I shot for the first time a ruger 345 and dead center all the time..so i'm thinking for my glock the issue may the faulty stamped slide lock as discussed earlier on in this thread..so we'll see when I get the mgsl

I'd really like to pick up one of these but I'd like to get into some gun games (GSSF, IDPA, etc) and I'm afraid that this "mod" will bump my otherwise stock pistol into a higher category.

Still being a relative noob to handguns, I'm a little leary of changing any parts out on a pistol that is already extremely reliable. With regard to this particular part, I'm sure that shows my ignorance as to how this part actually works and affects operation of the pistol itself. There's no chance that changing this part out will have any negative effect on reliability? This will only improve accuracy? After seeing the pictures from the beginning of this thread a long time ago, it's clear that the aftermarket part is made to much tighter tolerances than the factory part. My EDC is a G27, and I might be interested in doing this if it's pretty easy. I took my Marlin 60 apart and changed out an ejector/lifter spring, but I have never had the Glocks apart more than field stripped for cleaning.

To change this part takes about 5 mins. Very easy to do. Totally reverisble.

One question I do have that Mr. Graham might be able to answer is, If you change barrels does this lock have to be changed as it wears in to the original barrel?

I would say no. I have a G35 and shoot a KKM 357 sig barrel and my stock 40 cal barrel and never have any problems.

I shot my Glock 17 today with Mr. Grahams new slide lock. Groups got much tighter within 100 rounds. This is a must have add on to the Glock.
I am waiting for my spare two to come in the mail this week.
Also talked to Mr. Graham last week and this lock does not have to be changed if the barrel is changed from the gun.

To answer some of your questions -

1. When properly broken in, the MGSL does not effect reliablity. Many times break in is not necessary.
2. The MGSL can be switched into different Glock models.
3. The MGSL can be used with aftermarket barrels.

I would gladly pay a extra $30 for the gun to come from the factory with one of these slide locks in place. Glock really should consider making this a OEM part.

You stole the word's outta my mouth, if they pay you for it that would be great but I would not want to see a big company steal someone's product like Mr. Graham who spent a lot of time and though coming up with a part to significantly improve our Glocks.
