RIA Range trip
I Just remembered that I forgot to post my results of the first range trip with my RIA. I brought a friend along with me who is interested in getting a handgun, so the G23 came along with us and he put 400 more rounds through it without a problem. I know it has over 2000' through it now with only one problem which makes me happy, anyway, to the 1911. I brought 100 count box of WWB .230 gr. and 3 boxes of 50 count Remington UMC .230 gr. I am pleased to say, I had no malfunctions with it at all. I actually even shoot it better than my G23. After I put more rounds through er' I might even make er' my carry piece.

I haven't heard many bad things about them for the price. Enjoy your RIA.

Took a trip to the range today with DeerPredator. I put another 100 through the 1911 and still, no problems! Time to start looking for a holster.

That thing is a shooter for sure. I think it will serve you well. Just need to train to work the safety with your strong hand, or install an ambi safety on it. This is the place to ask if anybody has added one to their RIA before.

I had a similar experience, had a G22 and then got a Kimber Custom II and found that I shot it way better, ended up trading off the Glock for a Beretta 87T. When I first got my carry permit I didn't have anything else to carry aside from the Kimber, figured I would carry it until I got something smaller, found out carrying a fullsize 1911 is not as impossible as some try to make it out to be.

I have three RIA's and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are reliable and accurate with a super price. The only thing I changed were the grips. All three have double diamond grips now.
