new to carrying hk45c

I've got a V1 hk45c, I carry IWB shirt tucked in. My last carry weapon was a p12.45LDA with shaved hammer, i carried it chambered with the thumb safety on, but was very comfortable with thumb safety off as well. Should it be carried chambered hammer back with safety on or should i chamber a round then press the decocker for carry? I wouldn't be comfortable carrying tucked in with the hammer back and no safety. Also I'm new to this decocker I know it wont fire but I live in a neighborhood and haven't wanted to test it in my house. I guess I'll get more comfortable with it at the range. thanks for any advise.
