Down the road I really want an HK. I've been looking at the P30 since I read it can be used in stock service pistol if carried hammer down for the first shot. Anyone here compete with an HK in IDPA or know someone who does? Can the P30 be used in SSP?

I use both my P30 and P30L in both SSP and ESP Divisions. I also use my P30L in USPSA Production. I've been using my HK pistols in the gun games for a year and a half. They work well.

I started out in IDPA and USPSA with a USP. It was...okay. I shot it for about a year, but finally succumbed to GLOCKs and have beenin that camp for the last 6 years.
