Wind Meters

Hey Guys, Sorry if this has been discussed before but are any of you using a handheld wind meter for your long range shooting?? If so can you make a recommendation. Reason Im asking is I was watching a show on sniper training schools and just about everyone on the range had a wind meter as part of their set-up.

Thanks much in advance.

They are not required by any means. Really, they are most useful for calibrating your own sense of wind. They only measure wind at the shooter's location, obviously.
