P226R Question..My frame getting dinged.

Is this even close to normal?
The trigger marking the frame and chipping the black off of frame behind trigger...

Anyone here seen this before?

I just checked my p226 and don't see that marking on there.

Mine doesn't either. Is it a CPO gun or still the original finish?

All six of my Sigs exhibit trigger induced frame wear. Probably because I pull the trigger to make them fire.

My tires show wear after driving my cars too. Strange how that happens.

yeah mine looks alot worse than yours, great quality black paint i guess.

Actually, it's most likely a nitron finish, which in many people's opinion, is not as durable as what Glock and others use.

One reason most of my SiGs are all stainless steel is that there are rarely finish nor annodizing wear issues.
