Started a sig collection tonite, three german sigs
Went to show thinking about adding a nice german made sig to collection.
After all the talk around about quality , and remembering a nice german sig p220 i had to sell ,when i was younger .i thought i would look for one at a local gun show and ended up buying three all german made sigs, the 220 is still brand new never been shot ,all three came with boxes and papers and are in excellant condition out of one mans collection, pretty excited about them ,thought i would share some pics

Good grief!
When you get the "itch", you really know how to "scratch" it.
Congratulations!

yeah I scratch it good still can believe I bought all three, going to have to lay low for awhile , second thought why not Xmas is just coming early.
Going to range this weekend and see how they do looking forward to shooting 228 never shot that model before .
My big decision will be if I want to keep 220 new or shoot it, I don't have any guns that I don't shoot so it will be hard

Don't
Forget
to
Clean
the
Magazines' insides. If they are new, they're full of thick gooey crap that will cause misfeeds. If they're trade-ins, they might be full of Taco shells and donut crumbs.

There's a guy on another forum who owns an all German made SIG...he claims it has had many many rounds fired through it and when he showed pics of the frame rails...I couldn't even tell the gun had ever been fired.
The finish had not worn away, not one iota.
Looked brand new!
Congratulations on your new SIGs!

Thanks went to range fell in love with 226 and 228 bought carry holster for 228 and going to carry once in awhile all where perfect no failures ,
Looking forward to more range time . I will shoot them all , just need to find some reloading time, but it is getting cold in Iowa so that shouldn't be a problem . Question what type of grease are you guys using on slides ?

That's what I'm talking about.
I'll take the olde German Sigs over the newer Exeter models anytime.

I understand your liking the 228. I like mine so much I just purchased another one on GunBroker last night. I use this for the rails of my alloy frame Sigs.

Nice start of a collection. I'm getting my second Sig next week... first a P239 and now a P229 E2.
You should consider a 239... awesome little single stack pistol and fun to shoot. Highly recommended.

And I thought I went a bit SIG crazy this past month. You went off the deep end.
