Base/Rings Recommendation
Howdy Zak,
I have a Savage 10FLP-K .308 and I am looking to install a SS 10X42 scope on this rifle.
From what I can tell it seems that most of the one piece base and ring combos mount the scope a bit too high.
I would like to have the front objective bell lip to be as low as possible without touching the barrel.
Do you have any recommendations and in you opinion how high should the scope bell be from the barrel?
BTW I am using this rifle with the stock accustock which a little to no comb rise.
