If you think Md will ever issue permits, you haven't lived there very long. I spent 44 years there until I could finally retire and get out. After moving to Texas, I had a permit in no time.

On another note, I had to fly back to Md last week, 12/27 - 12/30, for a funeral. It was 28 degrees on the burial day. It was 76 when I arrived back in San Antonio. Get out of Md dude. Run Forest, run!

MD statute 4-209 provides state preemption over all counties in MD. Until that statute is either amended or rescinded this won't happen.
