Hand-built stainless Essex (enhanced frame and slide). Currently awaiting custom oversize chamber reamer from Clymer so it'll eat my .454 lead boolits.

I'll play.
Here's my Para Limited. Its not my favorite 1911, but I do like the sterling finish.

I'm always down for another pic thread.
BTW the book is because I was looking for a background (couldn't find a Springfield catalog) and just though "well they kick ass and so does the 1911". It made sense to me at the time (I should have been asleep ).

Here's my current 1911 collection. Everytime I feel I'm done buying them, something else pops up. I have six more 1911s on my want list. Two of them are on order. I will then be out of room on my shelves and have all the models I want. Anyway, enjoy the pics.
Left to right
Top row: Detonics ServiceMaster, Colt Commander XSE, Kimber Super Match II, Kimber Pro CDP II, Taurus PT1911, STI Trojan.
Middle Row: Colt Special Combat Gov., Springfield TRP, Springfield GI, Para 1911 Limited, S&W Performance Center 1911, Rock Island Armory GI, Dan Wesson Classic Commander BT.
Bottom Row: Wilson CQB, Nighthawk Predator II, Rock River Limited Match, Ed Brown Kobra Carry, Les Baer Concept V, Sig Sauer STX
