Me too. That's why I typed it out. None of this stuff is anything I invented, but I thought it would help folks just starting out.
Actually, this is the second time I've typed it all out. Fwdftw used up so much space in my PM box I thought I'd just throw it all out here.

You did a great job Steve, I admire your desire to help, but I wonder if it just makes some guys lazy. SOme newbs see no need for loading manuals either, "I'll just go online & ask for a recipe". A worthy effort, hopefully they will still get & read a reloading primer. If I sound cynical, it's because I am. You see all the questions that get asked here, most can be answered by reading a book. Sorry, bad Monday.

Jack said the same thing when I was on the phone with him earlier. I sure hope nobody takes this as a complete guide... just wanted to help with some common newbie issues.

Nice intro, Steve. Hopefully, it will entice new reloaders to further research these concepts you have briefed them on.

Good stuff Steve! Great job!! Now how to make everyone read it first before asking questions!?!?!
I kinda agree with fredj338. Some folks are just too lazy, but that basically reflects where we are as a society in general....
I'm pretty sure I'm glad I missed what's been deleted.

Thanks, guys.
If you think I missed any topics that commonly come up or a finer point of something already mentioned (again, the focus was software for newbies, not hardware), let me know and I'll put it on the front page in the appropriate place. I might even give you credit for it.

GREAT thread, Steve!!!!!!!
I'll be the devil's advocate, here, since no-one else has.
Where's the pictures, so that I won't have to read and comprehend your write-up!?!?!?!?!?

I must say Great Job there Steve. The only trouble is that for a lot of people it’s a lot like trying to explain a football game to a person that has never seen a football game.

When Unclebob was a boy they weren't allowed to go out for a long pass... they were afraid they'd fall off the edge of the earth.

Jack you promised you would never tell. You could never throw a ball past 5 yards anyway.
