I recently traded on this Glock23 in excellent shape but don't know what gen it is and either did the previous owner. It has the .40SW on the barrel and slide as well.The serial number starts with AEB.... Any info would be appreciated.

It should be a 2nd Generation - no fingergrooves or rail on it, right? If you contact Glock, they can tell you when it was made and then you can enter it into the Glock Serial Number database: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/show....php?t=1287557
