Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Proposed Gun Range Ordinances
http://www.snowflakesinhell.com/2011...nge-ordinance/
I'm surprised patrons aren't required to be fingerprinted and photographed for each visit and the prints and photo be sent to the Chicago PD everytime along with the make, model, caliber and serial number of each gun.
I wonder if you get to keep your empty brass and take it home?

I find this hard to believe.
I thought the left told us every day that the great one and those of his administration were totally "gun friendly"?
"Never let a good crisis go to waste".....and if there isn't one, invent it dude. The not so great one.

Looks like it's pretty clear Dead Fish doesn't want gun ranges in Chicago...people get the government they deserve.

He's trying to do an end around. The SAF and NRA have filed suits that the chicago rules are a ban on weapons since they require proficiency but there is no range to use.

Remember the white house leak that Obama was seeking "steath gun control"
The socialist gang in power are using Saul Alynski's game plan to infiltrate the system to bore from within. They are all about deciet and subversion.

You know, Jesus probably couldn't build and maintain a shooting range in Chicago; and he could walk on water!

That's no big deal, I can too... if it's cold enough.

The big one is this:
Quote:
|
Ranges can not operate within 1000 feet of another range, any district zoned for residential use, any school, day-care, park, place of worship, premises licensed for retail sale of liquor, any “children’s activities facility”, library, museum, or hospital.
|
As we have discovered with the 1,000 foot limit on sex offenders living near school and daycares, that eliminates virtually all of most cities and Kentucky cities are much less dense than Chicago. Thrown in 1,000 feet from every place that sells liquor, and every park and place zoned for residential use and you have eliminated ALL of Chicago, I'd guess.

Here's another one, Bren.
Let's say a license is issued, on Page 5, Paragraph (f) says the commissioner may deny an application for renewal if the license would have a deleterious impact on the health, safety or welfare of the community. It goes on to say a deleterious impact is presumed to exist whenever there have been a substantial number of arrests withing 500 feet of premises within the previous two years. What's "substantial"?
The kicker is the later the new ordinance references and includes the meaning of deleterious impact found in Chapter 4-60, The Deleterious Impact/Public Nuisance Ordinance: “Deleterious impact” means an adverse effect on the value of any property, an increased risk of violations of law, or a risk of a substantial increase in noise, litter, or vehicular congestion.

Essentially the whole regulations says that "if you can find any spot in Chicago that would comply with these regs, then we can give you a permit, if we want to.

Quit trying to discourage Chicago!!
Every day, more and more businesses and people with decency and common sense make the move from Northern Illinois to Indiana, leaving that **** hole to the turd polishers.
The city is corrupt top-to-bottom, and they got the government they deserve.
Hopefully, the good mayor will remember to raise taxes this year.
