I just picked up a Gen2 G17 LEO trade in for a very good price and I would like to know if I can put a Gen3 G34 slide assembly on this frame. I prefer the Gen 2 frame w/o the finger grooves and my intent is to use this combination in Production/SSP. Thanks.
The slide will fit for sure. If there is a problem it will be with the trigger system and/or safety. If so, simply upgrade to Gen3 parts & be done with it.
