What's for breakfast?
For me: coffee for sure. Maybe cereal, maybe leftover pizza.

Remember after school specials?
One they never did: " Cowboy and his very special .44!!"
You ever handle a Ruger redwawk 4" 44 or 45 Colt? They are sweet.

I have always prefered the commander sized guns too.

Not really a Redhawk guy. But I would not mind a Smith in 45. I passed on a Thunder Ranch revolver in 45ACP for 600.

I prefer smiths too for the most part, but in 44 mashem, the ruger will hold up better. Plus they finally made a 4" one. They are SWEET>

I'm with Shooter. I like the full-sized handguns.
They still make the Vaquero in 44.40?
<--- has a 6" RedHawk

Forget not that the Model 25 and 625 come in both .45 ACP and .45 Colt.
Problem with the convertible model is that the poor .45 ACP bullet has to take a bus to the forcing cone. Long way from leaving the case mouth to the breech.
I think the current Model 25 Classic only come in .45 Colt?

The Super Redhawk Alaskan has a 2.5" barrel.
Sounds like that might could tempt you some.
<--- has fired a .44 Magnum from a 2.5" barrel once
<--- not eager to try it again

That's why i really like the 4" barrel Redhawk. Carryable but still shootable.
<---Almost bought a Kramer IWB for the 4" redhawk.
had a line on a VERY lightly used redhawk .44 4" too. Let 'em both go

Is this still a breakfast thread?
Coffee, bagel with egg and cheese. I don't mess around with breakfast. Cereal is a late night snack.
