Glock barrel conversion kits?

Hey guys what up. Just a quick question. If I were to drop a 9mm conversion barrel in a 40 cal glock is the thickness between the OD and the ID(I forget what the specific name for that is) greater than the standard 9mm barrel?...If so does anyone know where I could get my barrel fluted?

Yes the 40-9 barrels have a larger barrel diameter and hood width

I am not aware of anybody offering a fluted barrel for a Glock? I am not against it HOWEVER I also do not see any advantage. You are going to spend a lot of money for a custom service that will not be seen. What exactly is it that you hope to achieve or accomplish?
