Some years back HK hired a Advertising Agency and this is what happened when someone takes a pic and knows nothing about a gun, so many HK pics have mags loaded as such....

If I recall correctly it is/was from badger? I have had it on there's for 15 or so years, before a correct paddle mag release was available for semi auto, clipped and pin guns. Yes, it pushes to the side instead of forward. It is actually a little more natural, but contemplating changing it to
Ake it "correct."
